What makes it special?

Veganic’s unique formulation technology applied to ZEONIX combines selected natural pyrethrins with various antioxidants, adjuvants and other co-formulants to result in a highly stable and effective bioinsecticide.

Thanks to this, when the product is diluted in the dosing solution, a micellar reorganization occurs, which consists of the self-encapsulation of pyrethrins inside lipid capsules called micelles.

Plant micelles ensure an optimal release of pyrethrins, protect them from photodegradation and guarantee homogeneity in the dose, avoiding phytotoxicity problems.

In addition, they preserve the active compound until it enters the insect, where it is released by contact.

Mode of action

ZEONIX penetrates through the natural openings and non-sclerotized cuticular regions of the insect. Once inside, it acts on the central nervous system, destabilizing the nerve impulse and causing the death of the insect. Its self-encapsulating formulation allows pyrethrins to be released in a controlled manner within the insect, maximizing their effectiveness.

Recommendations for use and application

For an effective application of ZEONIX, it is recommended to use the product at the first appearance of aphids, as its effectiveness is average and it does not act on high levels of pests.

In permanent greenhouses, apply by means of a sprayer truck and always by foliar route, ensuring that the crop has developed adequate foliage. In addition, it is important not to introduce bees or other pollinating insects into the greenhouse during application
