- Personal data processed
The personal data that we will process in any job application will be those conventionally established for these cases, such as, for example, identification and contact details, academic and professional background, any information that the candidate wishes to share voluntarily with our entity, as well as other data that we may collect during interviews related to the selection and hiring process.
Likewise, through our digital employment platform, data related to the IP address, operating system used by the user, browser, date and time of access, and log files may be processed.
- Purpose of processing personal data
The processing of the personal data provided by job applicants will be exclusively for assessing their application, contacting them for possible interviews and regarding the selection process, keeping them informed of the different vacancies that arise in our organisation if they authorise us to do so, and potential employment if applicable. Communications will be carried out through the contact channels provided in the job application (e.g. telephone or email).
Your data may also be used to request references regarding your professional background from the companies where you have informed us that you have worked.
If applicable, or if you believe that you should inform us about your degree of disability, intolerances, allergies or any other health-related data connected to the position applied for, we inform you that such data will be processed in order to comply with Article 15 of Law 31/1995 on Occupational Risk Prevention, which requires us to know this information in order to adapt the workplace to the employee’s needs, as well as with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013 of 29 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law on the rights of persons with disabilities and their social inclusion. Any other data unnecessary for the purpose of this application will be destroyed securely and confidentially.
- Lawful basis
The processing of your personal data by our entity will be carried out on the basis of your explicit, freely given, informed and unambiguous consent, since we inform you of this policy and, after reading it and if you agree, you may voluntarily authorise the processing of your data by ticking the boxes provided for this purpose in our forms.
In this regard, we inform you that you may change your mind at any time and withdraw your consent by contacting us at our postal address or by email.
If the user is under 16 years of age, we will not process their personal data, as this is the minimum working age in Spain. The user is solely responsible for the truthfulness of the data submitted to us.
- Security measures
We guarantee the proper use of the information and the confidentiality of the personal data contained in your job application, applying all necessary security measures to safeguard its integrity, confidentiality and availability. In short, to comply with the obligations that our entity has in the field of personal data protection.
- Data disclosures
Our entity informs you that your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless we have your prior consent, in which case we will request your consent via the boxes provided for this purpose in the job application forms, together with the necessary information so that your consent is informed and freely given.
For certain applications, our entity may use companies within our group or specialised recruitment providers; in such cases, they will be considered data processors, and we will sign the corresponding confidentiality agreement and commitment to adopt all the necessary security measures to protect your data.
- Retention of your data
The personal data provided as a job applicant will be retained until the position is filled or for a maximum period of one (1) year, unless you have expressly authorised us to include you in our talent pool, in which case they will be retained for as long as necessary to consider your application for potential vacancies and to contact you to inform you in this regard.
- Rights of job applicants
We will keep your data as a job applicant as explained above or until you exercise your right to erasure; therefore, you have the right to access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, object to or restrict the processing of your personal data at any time, as well as request data portability or withdraw your consent.
To exercise your rights, you must do so in writing to info@veganic.bio. If you act on behalf of another person, you must provide proof of your representation. If there are reasonable doubts regarding the identity of the person submitting the request, we may ask you to provide additional information necessary to confirm your identity.
