A Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Sustainable Agricultural Innovation
Veganic strengthens its leadership in agricultural biotechnology by joining DIMAS II as a collaborating partner, a high-impact project led by AINIA and funded by IVACE.
The initiative focuses on developing advanced materials for controlled and targeted release systems in agriculture — a key field for the future of efficient and sustainable crop management. Our participation in DIMAS II reinforces Veganic’s mission to build an ethical, regenerative, and science-based agricultural model, while strengthening our relationship with leading technological institutions.
DIMAS II: Biotechnology Connecting Science and the Field
The DIMAS II project (Design of Advanced Materials for Controlled/Targeted Release Systems in Agriculture) aims to develop high-precision biotechnological materials that improve the efficiency, sustainability, and accuracy of active ingredient delivery in crops.
The consortium is formed by: Veganic, AINIA, Vidres, Plymag, and Atlántica, combining materials science, advanced formulation technologies, and agricultural biotechnology.
Its shared objective: turning scientific research into practical, efficient, and sustainable solutions for farmers.
Veganic’s Contribution: Technical Expertise in Biosurfactants and Microbiology
Next-Generation Natural Biosurfactants
Veganic contributes its expertise in natural biosurfactants, essential for enhancing root penetration, nutrient absorption, and the optimal performance of active ingredients within targeted-release systems.
Microbial Systems and Microorganism–Biosurfactant Synergies
We also support the selection, validation, and optimization of beneficial microorganisms and their synergistic combinations, improving the efficacy, stability, and compatibility of the systems developed within the project.
Technical Review and Scientific Validation
Our team collaborates directly with AINIA in scientific and technical review, ensuring rigor, coherence, and real-world applicability of all agricultural developments produced through DIMAS II.
A Project Aligned with the Veganic Agricultural Vision
Participating in DIMAS II allows us to:
• Integrate scientific innovation into our portfolio of vegan and cruelty-free biosolutions.
• Promote regenerative agriculture practices supported by biotechnology.
• Strengthen our collaboration with AINIA, a benchmark in applied technological research.
• Increase public visibility through communications linked to science and sustainability.
DIMAS II reflects our conviction that the agriculture of the future must be built on ethics, innovation, and strong strategic alliances.
Building Tomorrow’s Agricultural Biotechnology Today
The project is already underway and is set to open new pathways in the design, application, and management of active ingredients in crops.
Thanks to DIMAS II:
• Biotechnology moves closer to farmers in a tangible way.
• Environmental impact is reduced through more precise application systems.
• Resources are optimized, and soil health is reinforced.
Veganic is proud to contribute to a project that bridges research, sustainability, and applied science — actively shaping the transformation of the agricultural model.
