ABIM 2025 once again positioned itself as the world’s leading event for the biocontrol industry—and Veganic was right at the center of it. Over three days in Basel, we shared knowledge, showcased innovations and strengthened strategic alliances that will shape the future of sustainable agriculture.
Participating in the Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) allowed us to connect directly with researchers, innovators, distributors and technology leaders who are building the next generation of biological solutions. For Veganic, ABIM was more than a conference: it validated our vision of an agriculture that is ethical, efficient and grounded in science.
A meeting that accelerates biocontrol innovation
From day one, our team engaged in technical and strategic discussions with formulators, microbiologists, research institutions and international partners. Key topics shaping the global direction of biocontrol included:
- New microbial technologies for plant protection.
- Regenerative agriculture models and measurable sustainability.
- High-efficiency biosolutions aligned with modern IPM strategies.
- The role of advanced scientific tools in agronomic decision-making.
Many of these conversations will translate into joint trials, technological developments and collaborative research initiatives already being planned.
Three pillars defining the future of biocontrol
ABIM 2025 confirmed that the sector is moving forward guided by three essential pillars:
1. Science: The foundation for delivering effective, safe and reliable biosolutions.
2. Sustainability: A measurable and indispensable dimension for the agriculture of the future.
3. Shared purpose: A global community driven by the belief that responsible production is possible.
These principles mirror the values that have shaped Veganic since the beginning: advanced biotechnology, ethics and real agronomic performance.
Veganic at ABIM: commitment to a next generation of biosolutions
Our presence in Basel strengthened Veganic’s position as one of the most innovative BioAg companies in Europe. We presented scientific advances, explored new development opportunities and reaffirmed our mission:
To lead a new generation of intelligent, sustainable, vegan and cruelty-free biosolutions that transform agriculture through real science.
Every meeting—with growers, distributors, researchers and partners—reinforced the same message: the future of biocontrol requires precision biotechnology and solutions deeply aligned with plant biology and environmental stewardship.
A special thanks to the ABIM community
We want to thank everyone who visited us, shared challenges, ideas and insights. ABIM reminded us that while the challenges are global, the solutions are built collectively.
Veganic will continue working to ensure that the biocontrol of the future is:
- more sustainable,
- more science-driven,
- more fair to farmers,
- and fully aligned with regenerative agriculture.
Because beyond ABIM, the future of biocontrol speaks Veganic—and we are ready to lead that conversation.
