A milestone in Veganic’s biotechnological innovation: exclusive lyophilized strains registered in the CECT

At Veganic, we are commemorating a fundamental achievement in our scientific journey: the official exhibition of the lyophilized vials of our exclusive strains, previously registered with the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT), one of the most prestigious microbiological institutions in the world. This display recognizes the research work that led to the creation of our proprietary strain library, a unique and protected biotechnological asset.

Deposit certificates CECT 31207 and CECT 31208 correspond to the lyophilized forms of our strains Bacillus subtilis VE1722 and Bacillus atrophaeus VE0706, which, together with Bacillus halotolerans VN323 and Bacillus megaterium VN324, form part of Veganic’s proprietary microbial collection. These endophytic strains, discovered and characterized by our R&D team, are at the heart of MicroGea®: a next-generation microbial technology designed to revolutionize nutrient efficiency and soil health in agriculture.

Our microbial library, our pride

The lyophilized samples deposited in the CECT are more than just technical records—they represent the consolidation of a proprietary biological heritage. They are tangible proof that at Veganic, we don’t just apply microbiology—we create it.

Having a proprietary strain collection with unique microorganisms—discovered, isolated, sequenced, and preserved under international standards—allows us to move toward a more precise, efficient, and environmentally respectful model of agriculture.

An exhibition to celebrate this achievement

To mark this important milestone, we have organized a small exhibition at our headquarters, proudly displaying the original certificates and lyophilized vials. This gesture symbolizes not only our respect for science, but also our conviction that the agriculture of the future begins in today’s laboratories.

We will continue working with the same rigor and passion to expand our microbial collection, generate new knowledge, and offer farmers living, effective, and sustainable solutions.
