Veganic has been named the national winner of the Santander X Spain Awards 2026 in the Scaleup category, a recognition that highlights its growth, capacity for innovation and commitment to transforming agriculture through Biological Innovation.
Presented on 21 October during Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) 2026, the award marks a new milestone for the Valencia-based biotechnology company and opens the door to a new challenge: representing Spain at the Santander X Global Award 2026.
National recognition for Veganic’s innovation and growth
The Santander X Spain Awards 2026 brought together 30 finalists across university projects, startups and scaleups. Veganic secured the top national award in the Scaleup category, reinforcing the recognition of a business model built on four key pillars: innovation, technology, scalability and international growth.
This award strengthens Veganic’s vision of advancing a new form of agriculture through the development of biotechnology-based agricultural biosolutions designed to enhance crop productivity and help regenerate soil health.
Biological Innovation lies at the heart of this strategy, combining science, technology and agronomic expertise to develop solutions tailored to the emerging challenges facing the agricultural sector.
The Santander X Spain Award 2026: new momentum for Veganic
The award was presented as part of VDS 2026, held in Valencia, with the participation of Ignacio Juliá, CEO of Santander Spain.

The victory at the Santander X Spain Awards 2026 now marks the beginning of a new stage.
As the national winner in the Scaleup category, Veganic will represent Spain at the Santander X Global Award 2026, moving from the national competition onto the international stage.
This new phase will bring together selected companies from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Uruguay.
It will be another opportunity to take Veganic’s technology, expertise and vision for Biological Innovation in agriculture beyond our borders.
