I hope this message finds you well and that your crops are growing strong and healthy. Today, I am writing to share with you a deeply personal and exciting new chapter\u2014one that reflects not only my passion for sustainable agriculture, but also a deep respect for the incredible work you do every day. <\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

After more than 25 years as a pure player in biocontrol<\/b>, I decided to launch VEGANIC\u00ae<\/b> \u2014 a company born not out of necessity, but out of purpose. It is a project built on gratitude: for the people who have walked this path with me, for the land that feeds us, and above all, for you\u2014the farmers who nurture life from the soil. <\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

VEGANIC\u00ae is more than a company. It is a movement rooted in science, integrity, and respect for nature. We develop and provide innovative biosolutions based on plant extracts and microorganisms<\/b>\u2014100% natural, vegan, cruelty-free, and aligned with the most rigorous ecological standards. Our goal is to empower you with tools that are not only effective, but ethical and sustainable. <\/span><\/p>

He is a serial entrepreneur<\/b> who has founded 22 companies<\/b> across various sectors and countries. His entrepreneurial journey began while he was still a student, living at his parents\u2019 home. His most recognized venture is Idai Nature<\/b>, a company he founded in 2009<\/b> that revolutionized the biocontrol market through natural agricultural solutions. <\/span><\/p>

In 2018<\/b>, Carlos integrated Idai Nature into a business group backed by a private equity fund. He continued in a leadership role as COO of the Biocontrol Business Unit<\/b> of the newly formed Rovensa Group<\/b>, with the mission of building and scaling this division globally. <\/span><\/p>

Under his strategic guidance and with the support of his team, the business unit expanded to operate in over 90 countries<\/b> and, within five years, became the world leader in biocontrol sales<\/b>, as reported in the Dunham Trimmer Report 2023<\/b>. This milestone was marked by his key role in the global launch of the Rovensa Next<\/b> brand at Fruit Logistica 2023<\/b> in Berlin. <\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

After successfully fulfilling the mission entrusted to him, Carlos stepped down from his executive role and, from February 2023 to February 2024<\/b>, served as Brand Ambassador of Rovensa Next<\/b> and Strategic Advisor to the CEO of Rovensa Group<\/b>, while preparing for a new entrepreneurial chapter.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

In March 2024<\/b>, he launched VEGANIC\u00ae<\/b>, a purpose-driven company focused on the development and commercialization of 100% vegan, cruelty-free biosolutions<\/b> based on plant extracts and microorganisms. His goal: to build a global unicorn in biocontrol<\/b> within five years and lead the transformation of agriculture into a more ethical, regenerative, and sustainable model. For Carlos, VEGANIC\u00ae is not just a business\u2014it is his most personal and ambitious legacy. Under his leadership, VEGANIC\u00ae<\/b> is rapidly becoming a global reference in respectful and science-driven agriculture<\/b>, helping farmers transition toward more sustainable, profitable, and future-proof practices. In May 2025<\/g>, VEGANIC\u00ae was awarded the prestigious spanish Emprende XXI Award<\/g>, granted by La Caixa<\/g> and ENISA<\/g>, recognizing it as one of the most innovative and high-impact startups in Spain. This award highlights the company\u2019s disruptive potential, its commitment to sustainability, and its role in shaping the future of agriculture<\/b> through biotechnological innovation. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Carlos holds several advanced academic degrees, including an Executive MBA<\/b> from ESIC, the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP)<\/b> from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)<\/b> in Boston, and executive programs from ESADE<\/b>, IE Business School<\/b>, and the 15×15 Program at EDEM<\/b>. He was named the first Distinguished Alumnus<\/b> by the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV)<\/b>, where he also served as President of Alumni UPV<\/b>, representing over 60,000 alumni. <\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/p>

From 2018 to 2021, he was also President of BIOVAL<\/b>, the Association of Biotech Companies of the Valencian Community, where he founded the annual Biotechnology Night Gala<\/b>, now a key event in the regional innovation ecosystem. Carlos is also a respected educator and public speaker. He has taught in various MBA and postgraduate programs, including at ESIC University<\/b> and EDEM<\/b>, on topics related to innovation and strategic leadership. In 2016, he received the Best Masterclass Award<\/b> from the Executive MBA program at UPV. <\/span><\/p>

He has received recognition from global leaders and institutions such as Steve Wozniak<\/b> (Apple co-founder), Barack Obama<\/b>, Queen Letizia of Spain<\/b>, Ana Bot\u00edn<\/b> (President of Banco Santander), the President of the Government of Spain<\/b>, and the European Commission<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>
